Las Acacias

It was a deplorable situation. They didn’t keep their word and seemed to care only about collecting payment for the stay. A disaster. There’s a lot to learn about improving tourism in the area. And to make matters worse, they sell you a house with a pool, then you find out the pool is shared.

The double bed is the only one with a box spring. The cabins can each sleep 4 to 6 people, but they’re attached, so the pool is shared and you need a good neighbor to avoid possible friction during the stay. The pool has stepped slopes that make it usable for people of all ages. There’s a barbecue grill, and the property provides a plank that’s easy to set up, making the area pleasant to use. It can also serve as a covered garage.

The house is missing basic things, from a bedside lamp to a sachet holder and an ice bucket. The pool is nice, but it faces the street and an auto repair shop, with no protection at all. The same is true of the gallery and garage. Barbecuing there while looking at the junk on the neighboring lot wasn’t an experience I’d recommend.
