The farm tour is a nice option if you want to see and learn more, and Reto also took us on a guided walk through the jungle to the two waterfalls on the property. He shared lots about the surrounding nature. Oberá is only a 10-15 minute drive away, and the lodge's central spot in northern Misiones made it easy to explore the area and have a night out in town. Reto gave us useful suggestions for places to visit and a great restaurant. I wrote a separate Google Maps review for La Farigola. We stayed five days at Granja La Lechuza Ecolodge, and Reto and Javiera made us feel very welcome. They were lovely, attentive hosts and helped us even with things unrelated to our stay. The cabaña had everything we needed: a new, quiet air conditioner, mosquito nets on the windows, a small fridge, a cooking corner, a comfortable bed, a ceiling fan, and a nice terrace with a barbecue area. There was also a pool nearby for hot days. The wlan in the cabaña was out after a lightning strike, but they were working on fixing it, and our phone hotspot worked fine. Dinner on the first evening was an excellent quiche with fresh salad, mostly or perhaps entirely made from homegrown vegetables. Breakfast each day was delicious, with farm eggs, fruit, homemade jams, coffee, tea, fresh rolls and bread, and even some cake. Their lovely dogs were another highlight, especially “coffee”. Thanks, Reto and Javiera, for the warm welcome and happy stay. We'd love to return, and we strongly recommend Lechuza Ecolodge.
