Bardot Hostel

We’d definitely come back. It’s a simple, beautiful hostel in a safe area near the center, and we could walk easily to the pedestrian area. The owners are very friendly and always available. Our room was basic but comfortable, with a private bathroom, smart TV, and mini-fridge. There’s a pool too, though the weather kept us from using it. Great value for the price.

This is where I stay whenever I travel to Paraná, and my experiences have always been positive. It’s right near the city center, with lots of shops nearby, and the prices are excellent for what’s provided. The staff are very friendly and ready to help, and the rules are reasonable. Rooms are clean and tidy, with a private bathroom, TV, and even an extra blanket. They have everything you need.

I expected a lot more, and the place was pretty run-down. The comforters and towels were worn, heavily used, and stained, and the room’s bathroom was dirty. The only positives were the comfortable mattress and the location, about four blocks from the center. I wouldn’t return.

The staff were warm and helpful, especially the friendly young woman and man who were always around to answer questions or sort out problems. I stayed in winter, and the air conditioning/heating unit was always on, keeping the spacious, clean room comfortable. There’s a welcoming feel to the place, with a patio pool surrounded by artificial turf. I highly recommend Hostel Bardon for the price, location, and the staff’s kindness.
