I've stayed in the same building again this year, this time in an apartment on the 5th floor. The gym downstairs didn't bother me, though I could hear it from the parking garage. I'd guess it shouldn't be a problem from the 2nd floor up. The garage was handy, and I never had trouble coming or going. Great location, and the doorman and the person who rented us the apartment were excellent. The rental is through the construction company. I hope to keep visiting Pinamar and stay here for years. I first posted this review two years ago, after someone complained about the gym downstairs and the parking garage.

We were about to send the deposit for the reservation when, as we went to attach the payment receipt, they said it had already been booked and there were “other customers willing to book faster.” It felt like they were mocking us. If this is how they handle bookings, I can only imagine what the apartments are like. They also advertise on Airbnb outside the rules, apparently just for promotion, and won't let you use Airbnb's secure payment system. Terrible.

I can't recommend this place. I was there in February 2019, when the garage door failed. It had no sensor and came down on me, completely wrecking my car in front of the caretaker, Rutilia, and her family. She said they'd called for repairs because the door was malfunctioning, and had already warned the architect and builder, Mr. Sergio Sabah, and Mrs. Anahí Cortizo, who were responsible. The door was fixed the next day, but no one dealt with my complaint or accepted responsibility. Anahí apologized by phone and said they'd cover the repairs, asking me to send a copy of my driver's license and car title. She told me to visit their Moreno Street office when I got back to Buenos Aires. Then she blocked me on her cell phone, and a very rude man named Walter, who said he was the representative, told me they wouldn't pay for any repairs.

The rooftop has a drum-style grill that comfortably seats 12, and there's parking, restaurants, and bakeries nearby. The balcony is enormous, great for breakfast or a meal, and the building is close to both the sea and the center. The facilities and price seem appropriate for what you get.
