Pamela at the front desk turned a tour mix-up around for us. Our guide still hadn't appeared 20 minutes after the scheduled pickup, and we learned the booking site hadn't passed our reservation to the tour company, even though we'd booked more than six months earlier. We don't speak Spanish, so Pamela helped us communicate with the operator, then called another guide to see if they could take us that day. Within about half an hour, she had helped arrange a whole new tour. Her help was incredibly gracious, and we owe the fix to her. We also had a lovely stay at Hotel Batista. We got in late from the airport on our first night but still had dinner in the restaurant. The homemade pasta was incredible, and everyone we dealt with, from the front desk to the restaurant, was kind. Breakfast was included and had a great range of food and drinks. It was a welcome change from the yogurt, deli meat, and cheese we'd mostly been offered elsewhere. We came to Posadas mainly to visit the Ibera Wetlands, and it turned out to be a very pleasant surprise. We're glad we stayed here rather than going through Corrientes: the hotel, the people we met, the food and drinks, and the lovely river walk all made the trip special. Thanks again to Pamela. Her hospitality made a profoundly positive difference to us, a couple who came all the way from the United States to see some capybara!

The hotel food was so good that after lunch on arrival, we chose to eat dinner there for the next few nights. Enrique was especially wonderful, though honestly everyone was great and the service couldn't have been better. Sundays around town are incredible, and we walked all over. It's a modern masterpiece in a quiet residential neighborhood, not far from the Paraná River esplanade. I can't recommend it highly enough. Absolutely fabulous, the best.

We spent two nights here as a couple on a bicycle tour on 09/05/22, paying $7,750(*) cash for a double room with a private bathroom and breakfast. The room was clean and nice, and the hotel felt fantastic and brand new. There was a generously sized minibar/fridge and a kettle in the room, which is unusual. Our bikes could be parked under cover in a gated area that was locked at night. A supermarket is just one block away. Breakfast was delicious and so nicely presented that we and the other guests couldn't resist taking photos. (*) Prices will rise over time because of Argentina's high inflation rate.

The location was great, the staff nice, and breakfast good. But my room had a really strong fragrance smell that stuck around all night, even after I opened the window in the middle of the night, and I couldn't sleep well. I couldn't figure out where it was coming from. The smell is still on my night clothes, lol.

It felt like a high-class hotel, and the service was very friendly. The pool is small, while the breakfast buffet is huge, though more than half the options are sweets. It's a good choice if you want to be near the bus terminal. Otherwise, it's nowhere near the center.
