Adrian also offers hikes and treks, horseback riding in the Andes, winery visits, tours in the high Andes, and scenic drives. We heard amazing things about the horseback tour and would have loved to join it, though we didn't get the chance. His trips can be tailored to what you need, and he takes you off the beaten track, so I'd totally recommend him for visiting Mendoza. During our stay there, we went on a day trip to Aconcagua mountain with his agency, Adventure Lifestyle Tours. It was a great day, very well organized, and Adrian was a friendly, interesting guide. He told us about the area, its nature, and its history, which we really appreciated.

We spent five nights here and got out trekking in the mountains and riding horses through the snow. Adrian, the manager, was a pleasure to deal with, really laid-back, and speaks English and Spanish. Turns out he's from our neighborhood in Sydney. Couples looking for a romantic getaway should definitely consider this place. Check out the photos on Instagram under #silvercordbnb.

Valle del Sol, where the hotel is, is peaceful and easy to reach. The best surprise came after we left: my boyfriend had forgotten a very precious necklace, and Sonia found it and mailed it all the way to Buenos Aires. She even had to come down to the city to send it. Her kindness made the stay feel even more special. Being so comfortable out in the mountains was one of my best travel experiences, and it's ideal for couples. We even barbecued under the stars. SilverCord was beyond anything I've experienced in all the places I usually visit. The cabins are lovely, spotless, and decorated down to every little detail. Sonia is one of the best people I've met on my travels; she makes you feel more at ease than at home. She puts so much love into breakfast, from the homemade bread and butter to the wonderful natural juices and jams 😍. The place feels like a dream. Don't miss the chance to enjoy nature this way 🫶🏼
