Solar de Las Chacras

It was a very quiet stay, and everything was clean and looked after. I liked it a lot and would definitely return.

The mountain view is lovely, and the place has potential, but after spending a vacation week here I have to say it needs a lot of upkeep. There were cobwebs under tables, chairs, and stairs. The mattresses were disappointing, especially the single bed, and the kitchen could use more utensils, including a frying pan and extra cutlery. It gets incredibly hot in the room, day and night. The air conditioner is small, badly placed, and doesn’t cool the whole space. There are also so many rules that it’s hard to enjoy yourself, even music played quietly isn’t allowed.

We had such a good time lounging in the sun, swimming, having mate or a cold beer, and enjoying the quiet. The cabin was comfortable, the grounds were lovely, and the huge pool looks out toward the mountains. The owners are incredibly kind. If you like taking it easy, I’d recommend it 100%.

For four people, there’s a bedroom, kitchen, refrigerator, air conditioning, and Wi-Fi, all in a beautiful mountain setting with a pool. It’s just a short walk from Potrero de los Funes, and the price is good for what’s offered.
