They gave us contact details for drivers so we could visit the Cataratas on both the Argentinian and Brazilian sides. It’s a family friendly place with great service, within walking distance of downtown and the iconic Triple Frontier (Argentina/Brazil/Paraguay).

Breakfast here has been the most comprehensive spread I’ve had in Argentina so far, with most angles covered. The people running the place are great, very helpful, and make it feel comfortable and homely, which isn’t that common in a hotel. Our room had enough space and facilities for what we needed, and the Aircon was great. There are several shared areas where you can hang out, so you can get a bit of a communal hostel vibe if that’s your thing, though it probably depends on who else is staying. Good restaurants and places for an evening drink are close by. Restaurante La Rueda 1975 and Aqva Restaurante Iguazú are both less than a five-minute walk, and if you’re there for two nights, try both.

The room was spacious and clean, breakfast was good, and the owners were lovely. They can arrange an airport pickup if you contact them on WhatsApp, at the same price as a « remises ». They also give you useful information about where to catch the bus to the falls, what to do, and where to eat. Laundry is available for an extra cost. We had a great stay at Residential Arcoiris and highly recommend it.
