The team at Hotel Sol Cataratas made my stay a very pleasant one. From the welcome at reception through the daily service, everyone was attentive, courteous, and professional. The facilities were well maintained, and the spaces were clean and orderly, which made things comfortable and peaceful. The location is also a real advantage for reaching the area's main tourist spots. The experience exceeded my expectations. Congratulations to the whole team for their commitment and quality service. I’d certainly recommend it and would return another time.

This happened about ten years ago, but I still want to share it. I stayed at the hotel several times for work while traveling back and forth to Buenos Aires. The complex was generally fine and ideally located. It was run by a short, bald older man, and there was an older woman who did housekeeping. One night, after heavy rain, I found mud in my room. I used a damp, worn towel to clean the entrance, which was covered in sweat, after taking off my boots. The next day the manager came in furious, shouting that I’d used the towel to clean my boots. He was yelling so loudly I couldn’t explain what I’d actually done. He said I’d have to pay for it, and I had no objection. He brought me the dirty towel, and I paid for it at checkout. By then he’d calmed down quite a bit. I kept the towel and washed it in the machine without any further problem. The other employees apologized and said the older blonde woman was unbearable. She wouldn’t even speak to me or say hello. I went there several times, then asked my travel agent to find me another place. Never again.

The setting is a plus, right in the middle of the jungle, and the hotel itself is beautiful. But poor service from the waitresses and the other problems really spoiled the stay. There was no variety at the buffet, and beef never appeared there at all. On the second night they ran out of soda and didn’t restock it. The rooms had no refrigerators, and the TVs and air conditioners were very old. WiFi didn’t reach every block of rooms. The hotel has potential, but it needs to improve a lot.
