The rooms are spacious and nice, and the hotel seems to have been renovated recently. I’d add outlets by the beds and a way to leave the AC running when you’re out of the room without the key card.

There were loose bits of wood and screws in one room, which felt unsafe and clearly not ready for guests. That same room smelled so strongly of fresh paint that breathing in it was difficult. When we told reception, they said no other rooms were available and made no effort to help or even apologize. We had to leave late at night and find somewhere else to stay. The whole response felt indifferent to our safety and comfort. Never again.

We could walk to shops and restaurants at any time of day or night, and the location worked well for visiting both the Argentinian and Brazilian sides of the waterfalls. The rooms were comfortable, the service was very friendly, and breakfast was a satisfying buffet. We’d happily come back.

Breakfast was adequate, and we were eventually able to leave our luggage there, which helped. When we asked for a slightly later checkout because our flight was later, the answer was no. The room was clean and the hotel itself was okay, nothing fancy. It got hot every time we returned because the room’s electricity depended on the key card. Our west-facing room was especially warm in the afternoon. We also arrived with a bag of adapters and couldn’t find it when we left.
