Managua Apart Hotel

A quiet, affordable place with excellent service. The apartments have a fully equipped kitchen, bedroom, and bathroom. There’s also a shared pool and grill, which made it a lovely spot to spend time with family 💖

I’d stay here again. It’s a great place for the price, and Maria was very kind. The room had everything we needed: a fridge, electric kettle, utensils, sheets, and towels. The air conditioning worked perfectly, almost too well because it was freezing. Everything else was a 10/10, but the key and parking were a hassle. When we arrived, I contacted Mauro, the manager, who gave me an access code for the parking spaces so I could get the key. He didn’t have the gate remote for us to park, and said he’d bring it later. It still wasn’t there when we returned that night, so I asked again and he brought it a few minutes later. Even then, we couldn’t park there on any of the days because the lot was full with 3 or 4 cars. We’d booked with some doubts after reading the reviews, but it turned out fine.

On my first adventure trip with my 11-year-old son, we shared the place with Brazilians. The person who looked after us was incredibly friendly throughout, and communication with the owner was excellent. It wasn’t hot enough for us to use the pool, though we would’ve liked to. We really wanted to have a barbecue, so we’ll definitely be back.

The place isn’t ugly, but it needs some care. The bathroom had lots of stains and limescale, and the sink leaked onto the towels. The apartment was badly neglected: the back door was rotten and wouldn’t open, there was no electricity, and electrical outlets were sticking out. It’s outside the center on a dirt road.
