Marín Apartments

There’s plenty of room in this fantastic apartment, with great beds and air conditioning. The host was lovely and had good recommendations, and the window shutters were a nice touch.

The host greeted us in person and was friendly and very helpful. The apartment is well located, peaceful, and close to the bus station and the streets with all the restaurants and bars. It has everything you need, especially a spacious, very comfortable bed.

The apartment was very spacious, in a good spot for restaurants, and quiet. Our host was wonderful, quick and easy to communicate with, and gave us great information for everything we wanted to do. It is a bit rough around the edges, though. Also, if you’re under 5"6", some things may be out of reach: at 5"2", I couldn’t reach the microwave, shower temperature control, or bathroom towel rack.

The bed was comfortable, with its own air conditioning in the bedroom. There were several smart TVs with a Netflix account, which we didn’t use but were nice to have. The apartment was spacious and clean, near dozens of bars and restaurants but quiet at night, and convenient for buses to the Falls and across the borders. Communication in English and Spanish over WhatsApp was prompt. The kitchen basics had been neglected: the only knife was dull, the salt shaker was empty, and some dishes still had food on them from a previous guest. There was nowhere to leave our luggage after the early 10am checkout. That’s the one reason I wouldn’t return unless I had a morning flight.
