The location is excellent, the rooms are ample, and the décor is quirky. Breakfast was adequate. But there’s NO air conditioning, so keep that in mind if you’re traveling in summer! The sheets were clean, though they gave us a duvet. Please, just a thin cotton blanket!

The wifi is awful, and there’s no cellular connection in the city, so expect to rely on local cafés if you need better internet. Aside from that, we found it good value. The place is cozy and beautiful, a short distance from the main square, and our room was spacious, clean, with a large bed. Breakfast was what we expected: cheese, ham, coffee or tea, and good bread, nothing more.

The hotel is beautiful and artistic, tastefully decorated, and right in the city center, with street parking. But the building doesn’t seem suited to how it’s being used. The shower water was cold, the sink faucet leaked, and water from the bidet dripped onto the floor. There was just one blanket in the room, and the masonry at the terrace threshold was crumbling. Breakfast was basic, with industrially packaged food and little personality. We had to chase down the employee to get things done. When we arrived, nobody was there, and we had to look for the doorbell. There was no welcome at all, the first time that’s happened on our trip to Argentina. It’s a shame to see a hotel designed with such care and attention to detail left in the hands of people who seem so careless.
