Hotel Paris

I liked the old-fashioned decor, especially the little sayings along the hallway walls about enjoying every minute of life. The staff were friendly, the rooms were clean and decent for the price, and the location is really convenient.

The staff were welcoming and the hotel was clean, but it really needs some renovation. All three single beds in my room were sagging, the sink had barely any water pressure, and the TVs were old. There was a heater but no fan. Some rooms share their showers and bathrooms. Breakfast came with the stay, though it was very basic: coffee, toast, butter, dulce, jam, and artificial orange juice.

We only needed a place for one night, and the staff were great and helped us a lot. The room was clean and had its own bathroom. There’s a special price at the desk for foreign guests paying by credit card, about 100 pesos less, so don’t book through Booking.com.

The room was fine, but the staff struck me as really odd, and breakfast was mediocre. A cat, apparently the owner's, kept meowing right beside our room all night.
