The rooms were a little meagre but comfortable, and the hostel bathrooms were spacious, comfortable, and very clean. The downside was the freezing weather that weekend. The bathrooms are outside the rooms, so I had to cross a patio or gallery and got cold going both ways. Still, the host was the best I’ve met. After calling more than 30 places that said they were full, he found me rooms for the next two nights at different places.

The service was excellent, but the rooms really let the place down. We booked a private room, and the walls had holes, the bed was awful, and all the linen was stained. It feels like maintenance has been neglected. We found an Airbnb for the same price that was much, much better.

It was good, though the building quality makes it feel a bit overpriced.

Yes, it’s Freedom. You’re looked after when you come in. Enjoy the company and the comfort, and pass along the love you find here. Libertad.

The best thing was the service from the owner, Diego, and the hostel staff, Tania and Martin. The location is very good, and the area stays quiet at night. Bathrooms were clean, though there are a few small things to fix. The facilities are a bit run down, maybe because of the kind of building. Breakfast is very basic, but it does the job for the prices they charge.
