Holiday Inn Rosario by IHG

The front desk staff and the hotel were very nice, but the pool was a letdown. The attendant was unfriendly and put my umbrella down right away. When I asked why, she said it was windy, but it wasn't. The pool filters were off and the water was nasty. With no shade, sitting by the pool wasn't enjoyable. So I'm throwing shade.

For such an expensive hotel, it doesn't really stand out. The rooms are on the small side, and the bathrooms even smaller. The beds are comfortable, though some single rooms have two narrow beds instead of one larger one, which is annoying. I barely fit lengthwise, and I'm not tall. Breakfast was good, and reception was nice.

The room was clean and nice, and we could leave the car in the garage. Still, a few things were lacking: there were only two towels for the three of us, including my wife and daughter, and the gym had neither towels nor soap. I also tried for 40 minutes to get the sauna warm without success. Breakfast ending at 10 a.m. feels too early, especially on weekends and holidays. On the bright side, everyone was kind to my two-year-old daughter, and they extended breakfast for us. People here are as kind as you'd expect in Argentina.

The Holiday Inn Rosario is one of the best hotels I've stayed at. I travel a lot and nearly live in hotels, so this one really stands out. Back in the UK, hearing that work booked a Holiday Inn can make your soul sink, but this place feels welcoming. From housekeeping to reception and the waitstaff, everyone was friendly, warm, and seemed to care about making your stay good. The food was great and the service amazing. I recently stayed at the Conrad Hotel in London, and I'd send all those workers here to train. Gracias guys.
