Los Alamos Bed And Breakfast

Every time I visit Rosario, I stay at Los Álamos. It feels like home, and María Rosa is very attentive, taking care of every detail. The atmosphere is lovely, the service is excellent, and breakfast is all homemade. I hope I can come back soon.

The house itself is very nice and clean, though it was very cold. What happened with María Rosa was unbelievable. In the middle of the morning she wouldn’t let us in, or even let us leave to get anything. On the phone she claimed she wasn’t there and wouldn’t open until 4 pm. We called the police, who called her, but she didn’t answer. About 50 minutes later, she came out of the house. I was there with FOUR CHILDREN, my wallet, documents, EVERYTHING. There’s no valid excuse for this. Up to that point María Rosa had been lovely, but someone with such a mental imbalance shouldn’t be hosting people. We’re filing a complaint with the Consumer Protection Agency and any other relevant authorities.

The house is lovely, old but well cared for, and Maria Rosa is very friendly. The heating was an issue: we were cold the first night, and the extra blanket didn’t help enough. After we asked her to turn it up on the second night, we slept well, but the dining room was freezing at breakfast. Breakfast also fell short of what the website described. We only had coffee with milk, so I can’t say whether all the listed teas were available. The juice was Baggio, there were no croissants or cookies, and the cake wasn’t good. I don’t know if it was homemade. It’s a shame, because the place itself is so nice.

The courtyard is lovely, the pool was immaculate, and the breakfast was delicious. The hotel is beautiful and so comfortable, with excellent service. Thanks so much, Maria Rosa. See you next time I’m back.
