The staff were very friendly, and breakfast was okay. Still, we had a bad stay. The room felt depressing, with no outside light and very little brightness. Worst of all was an unpleasant smell coming from the bathroom pipes, what they call cloaca. We were too exhausted to ask for another room. I’m sorry to leave a negative review, but I wouldn’t want someone else to have the same experience. With so many accommodation options these days, this kind of stay is unacceptable.

I stayed for one night in May 2026. The location is convenient, a few blocks from both the Cathedral and the Flag Monument, and the beautiful architectural facade is very well kept. Parking is available out front for a small extra charge, arranged when you book. The room was as expected for a 3-star hotel, and the staff were hospitable and attentive. Breakfast was complete and made with quality products. For a short stay where you want a central location and good value, Majestic Hotel is a good option.

For USD 50 for a single room, this was a real treat and excellent value. The classic building has been renovated beautifully, and the staff provided first-rate service. My room was spotless, with a comfortable bed, a new bathroom, and Wi-Fi. Breakfast was an American buffet with everything you could want, and they even offered to make scrambled eggs. Highly recommended.
