For the price, the accommodation is decent, and the location is great. The Tren de las Nubes station is 2 blocks away, and "restaurant row" is half a block away, with two blocks of well-lit restaurants, bars, and karaoke spots. Salta's largest shopping center is about 6 blocks away. The main plaza is a bit of a walk.

The rooms were clean and pleasant for a couple of days, breakfast was alright, and the receptionists were nice. Still, the end of our stay went badly because management showed no goodwill. After an hour on the phone, we finally got what seemed ethically right: paying for half a day if we stayed half a day longer, as the receptionist had told us. Management wanted a full day's payment instead. The mix-up between reception and management was their business, and we shouldn't have had to pay for their mistake. The manager blamed her, said she shouldn't have told us that, and said he'd take the other half of the day out of her payslip. Would you work for someone like that? It's a shame. We planned to return with other friends in a month, but won't now over something that could have been settled in five minutes.
