Just sleep at the airport. The rooms are moldy, the electricity kept cutting in and out, the AC and hot water didn't work, and there were exposed wires at the outlets. Water cost more than at the airport, and people shouted and played music from their phones late into the night. The photo shows the emergency light switching on and off all night. If you're looking for a hotel, don't stay here. If you want to feel like you're in a Stephen King novel, maybe that's the experience. What John Cusack experience in 1408 would look like a kids tale. Whatever you do, this isn't how the hotel looks anymore.

The room seemed clean at first, and it had a king-size bed and a fridge. It's simple, but enough for one night. The shower changed that impression: there was black hair all over the bath, even though I have red hair, the showerhead looked like it hadn't been descaled in over a year, and the tiles were dirty. Afterward I found more black hair on the floor and lots of dust by the door. Breakfast was simple but fine. At check-in, the receptionist stayed seated and seemed not to understand what two people arriving with luggage wanted. We wanted to check in. I would have rated the place higher since it suited our one-night needs, if not for the cleanliness problems.

We enjoyed staying here. The management was very accommodating, and the room was large with good AC. It was good value, with convenient parking and a nice breakfast.

Handy place to stay if you're just passing through Salta.
