Hotel Mirador del Cerro

I went in June 2025 on my first solo trip to the north, and there was always a staff member available, 24 hours a day. The location was great, facing San Bernardo Hill and a few blocks from the main square and tourist agencies. They cleaned the room every day, which was always tidy, and it had heating and a stove. Staff were friendly and helped with any questions I had. The price was affordable and good for what you got. Breakfast was very good for the cost of the stay, with pastries, yogurt, juice, milk, hot chocolate, and hot water for mate. When I had to leave for an excursion before 6:00 a.m., they had no problem preparing breakfast early.

The staff were lovely, and breakfast was good. My room was comfortable, with air conditioning, a TV, comfortable beds, and room service. But the bathroom was very run-down: the bathtub paint was peeling, the sides were black and looked like mold, and some outlets were broken. It needs maintenance. The hotel is six blocks from the city center and across from San Bernardo Hill. With more upkeep, guests would have a better experience.

The rooms were comfortable and reasonably priced, with breakfast included. Everyone was friendly, especially the morning-shift manager, and the service was excellent. I’d highly recommend it and would stay again on my next trip.

The rooms look a bit dated, but the beds are so comfortable I’d come back a thousand times. Reception service is perfect, with super friendly staff always willing to help, and the rest of the team is great too.
