The food was probably the second best we’ve ever had, and we liked the restaurant so much that we returned for another meal a week after checking out, on our way to the airport. The manager welcomed us warmly and upgraded our room for our honeymoon. That evening, there were beautiful flowers on the bed. Honestly, this was one of the best hotels we’ve stayed in. We’d go back anytime, and might even fly there one day just for the hotel.

The property is beautiful and some of the staff were nice, but the management was poor and the price felt like a rip-off. We’ve stayed at $150 hotels on this trip, a quarter of the price here, that were better. The manager doesn’t seem suited to the property or to meeting the expectations that come with these prices. They ask about food restrictions, then serve you that food anyway. We had a very unpleasant conversation with the manager, and the experience fell far short of what I expect from Relais & Châteaux. I wouldn’t return. Not great for CAD $600 a night!

This felt like a ranch, and it was our favourite hotel on our tour of Argentina. The setting is beautiful, the food is delicious, and the service is exceptional. The horse riding is well worth recommending too. What a fantastic hotel.

We loved the outdoor space, and even the owls. The restaurant is beautiful, and the breakfast was the best we had in Argentina. It’s a stunning building, with gorgeous living areas in an authentic finca. Woodsmoke adds charm to this immaculately managed hotel, and the fireplace in the restaurant and breakfast room is amazing.

Fernanda, everyone at the front desk and office, and the social media manager all gave absolutely outstanding service. I made so many inquiries, and I’ve been really pleased with how attentive they were and how promptly they responded, with five-star service.
