The staff were wonderful, friendly, and kind, and the rooms were clean and nice. Breakfast was very good, though quite sweet if that's your preference. The walls are thin, so you can hear most of what goes on in the next room, if you know what I mean.

I stayed for a month in 2009 and loved it. After trying three other hotels, we came back here. It was quiet and clean, with a great room, good breakfast, and a great price. There was air conditioning, too. It's five blocks from my in-laws and very close to downtown.

We arranged a reservation and asked about checking in late at night. The woman confirmed she would be waiting for us, but when we arrived the receptionist said there was no room and made no effort to help. After we kept insisting, he gave us the name of another hotel. It was more than twice the price and not even close by. Not helpful at all. A terrible experience, and never again.

Everything was good value for money. I paid USD41 for a quadruple room. The welcome from the staff, the room's design, and especially the breakfast were outstanding. Highly recommended!

A fair price for an overnight stay, and the breakfast was really good.
