They canceled our reservation just as we arrived at the apartment, leaving us out on the street with nowhere to stay.

The terrace looked nice and the place seemed clean, but I can't recommend staying there. We booked one night and found nobody when we arrived. The door was open, so we went in and waited 40 minutes for a young woman to show up. I think she was the owner's daughter. She was friendly, but couldn't give us a room because a bathroom sink needed fixing, and there was no other room for us. She said she'd charge extra if something became available, even though they had failed to honor our reservation and that should have been a courtesy. The owner never appeared. By 5 pm, we had to deal with finding and moving to another hotel.

When we got there, no one came to open the door, so we stood outside with our bags for half an hour. They told us a pipe in the room had burst and wouldn't let us in. We had to find another hotel and pay for it ourselves. We had paid for two nights, so we came back the next day, but the room didn't have the private bathroom we had paid for. When we complained, Facundo, the owner, responded hostilely and said we were the only ones complaining. He ignored our calls, and in person he was extremely rude. A terrible experience. Avoid this place if you want to avoid a bad vacation.

The service was awful, and they let you leave your suitcase in the kitchen, where everyone can get to it. Our room was very dirty and incredibly noisy, and they gave us something inferior to what we'd requested. There was nobody when we arrived, so we had to go to an ice cream shop and ask them to call, since we couldn't get inside. It was a terrible experience, maybe the worst of our lives. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. I'd pay much more per night to never return to that hostel. It ruined our stay in Salta.
