The only thing that needs more attention is getting up to the upper bed. There’s no ladder, so you need to be fit to climb up. The staff are amazing, very nice and helpful. There are two kitchens and lots of bathrooms, and they were very clean at any time of day.

The price is very good, and this is right up there with the best hostels I’ve stayed in during my two months in Argentina. It’s beautiful, super clean, with fresh clean sheets and blankets, and a fully equipped kitchen. The staff have been extremely helpful and empathetic. I couldn’t ask for more.

The rooftop was a lovely spot to relax, and the book exchange was amazing. I paid about 2500 pesos a night. The hostel was generally clean, with a well-equipped kitchen, and the receptionists were kind and helpful. I stayed two nights and was almost the only guest. My four-bed room was fine, though it didn't offer much privacy. The showers were okay, and you can exchange dollars there at an honest, current rate. Recommended!

We were close to everything, and the rooftop was amazing. The staff were polite, and the beds and rooms were good, so our planned two-night stay turned into five. The bathrooms could use a little updating, but they were clean and worked properly.

The owner was very nice and offered lots of help, which I appreciated. I also felt comfortable at the hostel, and otherwise it seemed very nice. But I hope they take the bed bug problem seriously and bring in professional treatment. A little poison isn't enough. I later learned from the owner that it wasn't true they'd never had bed bugs, since apparently there had been some two months earlier. My bed had bed bugs, and I got several bites all over my body and face. I couldn't sleep all night, and one bite made my eyelid so swollen I couldn't open my eye the whole day. I could barely enjoy my day trip and excursion in Salta. When I told the woman at reception, she wasn't very friendly or helpful. She said this had never happened there before and tried to blame me and my backpack, saying I had brought the bed bugs. I hadn't had bed bugs before staying at this hostel. They also canceled my Hostelworld booking, so I couldn't leave a negative review there, which I didn't appreciate. It would be a pity if the hostel lost guests because it didn't get professional treatment for this issue.
