The location is good, close to the city center, and the fan worked fine. That’s about where the positives end. It’s supposedly a three-star hotel, but felt like two at best, stuck in the 80s. Air conditioning is only on the second floor, and the units are so old you have to ask reception to turn the knob to get them running. Wi-Fi only works at reception. Breakfast was very poor, just croissants, shortbread, and coffee. The ancient elevator barely works and can take one person with luggage or two without. Rooms and bathrooms are tiny, the towels are tiny too, and the rooms are badly lit. The thing that bothered us most was having to leave the key at reception every time we went out, which gave us little privacy, along with the receptionist’s sarcastic attitude. We had booked three nights but lasted only one.

We only stayed two nights while passing through, and the price seemed reasonable. It's centrally located and comfortable enough for an overnight stop before continuing a trip. The Wi-Fi worked well on the second floor, and so did the elevator, though it fits at most two people or one person with a suitcase. There was a window air conditioner, but I didn't use it, and I don't watch TV, so I never checked whether it worked.

Rita, the owner, Lili, and the night staff member all provided excellent service.

The breakfast was the most ridiculous I've ever had. It was a buffet with weak coffee, hot water, milk, and the worst powdered juice. There were two kinds of medialunas, so hard they could probably break a bone if one fell on your foot. I was lucky we only booked one night. I complained to the receptionist, and she gave us 3000 pesos to get breakfast somewhere outside. The worst part is how expensive the night was. Stay away, don't fall into this horrible trap. At first glance the hotel looks very beautiful, but the rooms were awful. The air conditioner and minibar didn't work, and the window wouldn't open. The bathroom was tiny, had no ventilation, and barely any water came from the shower.

The rooms were crammed with furniture, leaving barely enough room to walk, and the TVs were old with no cable. Service was very poor and unhelpful. I had booked six rooms by phone with Rita a month ahead, then canceled two rooms two hours later. They refused to refund me until I went to the hotel and insisted. Even then, they returned only 70% of the money. Unfortunately.
