For less than US$30/night, this can work if you're only passing through Salta and trying to save money. I wouldn't suggest staying longer than a night or two. The location is excellent, and the staff are friendly. The bathroom is very moldy, the sheets and towels are stained, and the AC blows warm air. Its knobs were missing, so I couldn't turn it colder. Watch the exchange rate too: they charged significantly more than they should have, but corrected it after I pointed it out.

The staff are friendly, the location is good, and the price is cheap. The cleaning staff are great too. But it's not comfortable to stay here, and you'll leave tired and exhausted. The rooms aren't soundproof, the fridges wake you up, and the air con is louder than a toilet flushing. The beds feel like camp beds. The decor is dated, and the photos don't reflect the breakfast or the quality of the rooms.

They quoted me one price over the phone when I booked, then changed it at the hotel. Water was leaking in the bathroom, and they couldn't fix it.
