Tayka Hotel

The neighborhood is nice, but it's a long way from the city center. The building itself is in very poor condition and has a lot of dampness. We struggled with the key at night, so we called the owner and she came to let us in. There are several things that need improving.

The owners were very hospitable and the service was excellent. It's a quiet, safe place, and I'd highly recommend it.

It's a very quiet area, which is great if you want a good night's sleep. Some apartments get direct sun and become really hot in summer, beyond what the air conditioning can cool. Luckily, they moved us to another vacant, much cooler unit. That one had no kitchen, though, and some of its electrical outlets didn't work.

We stayed in Tres Cerritos, a very quiet area with street parking. It's not downtown, but the main square is only ten minutes away and the shopping center five. Without a car, taxis are easy to get and arrive in about five minutes. The apartments are comfortable and impeccably clean, and Fernanda is a great host.
