Hotel Avenida San Bernardo

Everything was spotless and very peaceful, and the staff were always kind and attentive. Breakfast was delicious, and they let you use the dining room when you order food. The only drawback is that it's 10 blocks from the beach, though it's a lovely walk. Three blocks away there's a really nice plaza with shows and an artisan fair sometimes. There's a 24-hour shop and a little market next door that stays open until 2 a.m.

The location is great, and the two guys on the afternoon shift, Alvaro and Maxi, were fantastic and always attentive. Still, I won't be returning. Everything seemed fine until checkout, when they tried to charge us 30,000 pesos for a sheet that already had an old orange stain when we arrived. We were honest and said it wasn't our fault, but the two women at the front desk told us honesty doesn't exist there. I hope this helps someone else avoid the same problem, and I hope they don't delete this post like they do with all the negative comments.

The rooms were neat and clean, and the staff were attentive throughout. Such a peaceful, lovely place. Thanks for everything, I hope we can come back next year!

The location is handy, right across from the Sanber bus terminal, and the service was good. Breakfast included croissants, pastries, and coffee. Rooms are basic, but they clean them and replace the towels daily. There was a musty smell, though it was fine for sleeping. Wi-Fi only reaches the common areas.
