Hostera A Santa Rita

There's a rocky beach here and lovely lake views. It's a little outside Bariloche, but the bus gets there quickly.

The location and the view are easily the main draw. The rest of the stay didn't impress me much. The front desk attendant wasn't very friendly, breakfast had little protein, and neither the bed nor the pillows were comfortable. If you're in rooms 3, 4 or 5, expect noise from the dining room above from 7:30 am, when it opens. You'll hear people walking, moving chairs and talking. With the view as its main asset, the hotel still falls short on comfort, and it won't be a quiet, relaxing stay.

The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, and cleaning and service were good. The location is excellent, with lots of spots to sit and take in the truly spectacular scenery. But the rooms didn't match what was advertised online. I was willing to pay a little extra expecting better quality, yet there were neglected details, old furniture and poor workmanship. I was assigned room number 6. It had a lovely view through the window, but the room was narrow and faced quite sideways, so it didn't live up to the photos. I also expected better breakfast because they operate as a tea house in the afternoon. The quality was very low: basic food, awful croissants, bland bread and very poor coffee.
