Rose Garden

The location made it easy to get to both the beach and the town center, and Jordana and Esteban took great care of us. Our cabin, number 5, was very well equipped, with daily cleaning and a spotless heated pool. We stayed for a few days and would definitely recommend it.

The outdoor area is nice, and everything was very clean. The location is good, with a pool and parking; there's a marked spot for trucks that's easier to maneuver into. Inside, the decor, blankets, and kitchen utensils are old but still in good condition. The kitchen has an oven, two burners, a microwave, and a mini-fridge, plus a monitor-style TV in the kitchen and dining area. The shower space is extremely cramped. The curtain hits you when you try to move, there's nowhere to put shampoo or a comb in the shower, and the bathroom gets very wet because the water-retaining step is tiny. I found the price high given the outdated feel and lack of breakfast. Before booking, the personal attention was cordial.

The grounds at Apart Rose Garden are gorgeous, with rose bushes in every color, and the complex has a heated pool, solarium, and very good parking. It's just two blocks from Lake Lácar, with plenty of places to eat nearby in San Martín de Los Andes. We spent 7 nights in Apartment #7. It was simple and clean, with good quality furniture, a very comfortable bed, a large wardrobe, and a decent-sized dresser. Upstairs, the bedroom has a double bed and a single bed, divided by a wooden partition and folding door. A sturdy wooden staircase leads up from the kitchen and sitting area, where there's a sofa. The kitchen has plenty of dishes and cookware plus a microwave, but no kettle or toaster. The bathroom is on the lower floor, with a shower that works well and good storage for toiletries. Wi-Fi was very good. We were happy with the value for money. Ask reception for a hairdryer.

The apartments are compact but comfortable and fully equipped, in an exclusive-feeling area close to both the center and the lake. There's cleaning service, parking, and a heated pool with a mate area. One small thing to be aware of: stairs lead up to the room, which could be inconvenient for some. There are a few things that could be repaired or improved, and I hope they take criticism into account along with the praise. Highly recommended.
