We arrived late with nowhere else to stay, and they had a room available at an okay price, though breakfast wasn’t included. The staff were lovely and helpful, and the hostel’s outdoor area is beautiful. Our room was large, had a mini fridge and small kitchen, and opened onto a garden. It also had an alarm system, which was reassuring. There were utensils in the drawers, but they didn’t look very clean. The room had a strange smell and wasn’t as clean as it should have been. The heating didn’t work, we weren’t given towels, and the bathroom looked very old. In general it’s a nice place and decent value for money, but the rooms could use some improvement.

This family-run hostel has a welcoming feel from the moment you arrive. Pablo, one of the owners, knows a lot about local hikes and the area, and they also offer tours. There’s lots of space to hang out, and the Mirador is nearby with a beautiful view in the morning. The lake and bus station are only a few minutes away on foot. The place was quite clean, with rooms that have private bathrooms, plus a nice kitchen and garden. Thanks!

It’s cheap and close to the terminal, so it works well for a night. The guy at reception was helpful, and there’s a big kitchen and plenty of shared space. But the room was small and too hot for four people, and the top bunk is very high.

I didn’t end up staying here, but they were kind and understanding when I cancelled my reservation that same day. They didn’t charge me a fee.
