The garden and pool are nice, and the place has a pleasant retro feel, though it's a bit old. The Wi-Fi is very slow, and we couldn't get internet in our room.

We went as a family of adults for two nights and really liked it. The garden is spacious, the pools were clean, and you can use the grills. Our rooms were comfortable and clean, with good mattresses. Everyone was friendly and the service was excellent. The only drawback was having nowhere to keep drinks cold. You can buy drinks there, but they won't let you store leftovers.

The homemade breakfast pastries were delicious, and the parking is covered inside the building. The park and pool looked just like the website photos, and most locals we met were friendly and attentive. Still, I wouldn't return. There are no umbrellas by the pool, so you have to sit farther into the park under the trees. Many loungers are broken pallet-style wood, sometimes without cushions, and very uncomfortable. My basic first-floor room was poorly maintained: stained sheets, stiff but clean towels, and only one of the bathroom's three bulbs worked. The upstairs balconies had lots of cobwebs. You can't bring drinks inside, and borrowing cutlery costs $1500. Breakfast beyond the pastries was meager. I had to ask for cream cheese, two tea bags, water, and there was very little fruit and almost no sweetener. The complex is large but underused. The owner sits around the park constantly, which made me feel watched all day. I even stood by the cleaning lady while she dusted. It was awful.

The staff were excellent, and the grounds were spacious, peaceful, and very well kept. Our room was clean, simple, and adequate, with air conditioning, a fan, and a good mattress. The pool was clean too, but small; we were lucky to have it nearly to ourselves for most of the two nights. Even so, I don't think the price was good value, and I wouldn't return. It's neither the most expensive place in San Miguel del Monte nor the cheapest. The pool gets direct sun all day, with no umbrellas, and the loungers can't be moved. There are plastic chairs, but they won't let you take those into the grounds. Breakfast was awful: terrible croissants, toast as hard as rock, cream cheese that tasted rancid, and mediocre coffee. The most edible things were the apparently homemade pastries, including cornstarch alfajores, pasta frola, and pudding. They charge $1500 to borrow a glass or knife. There's shampoo and liquid soap, but absolutely no conditioner, and nobody tells you, so we had to go out and buy some. You can't bring your own drinks, and the selection there is limited. The TV only has broadcast channels and a little cable, like Canal Encuentro. We never understood the “Apart” thing. We tried to stay positive and ended up laughing about everything, but for what we paid, I can't recommend it. We ordered delivery from two great places: CANO Rotisserie and Simoneto Pizzeria.
