Hotel Dali

The location is SUPER convenient, half a block from a lovely plaza and two blocks from the shops downtown. It’s also a very quiet area. Service was excellent, and there’s a garage for parking. For the price, this is VERY good. The hotel has Wi-Fi and an elevator, and breakfast is included: sliced bread, fresh bread for toast, pastries, juice, coffee, milk, cream cheese, butter and jam. The rooms have what you need, including clean sheets and spotless towels, air conditioning, a TV, a mirror, an extra blanket, and a little table and chair. And yes, there’s soap and shampoo. I’d read comments saying there weren’t any, so they must have added them.

I had to stay in San Rafael unexpectedly for one night, so I picked this very budget hotel. It’s handy for both the bus terminal and the city center. The staff are really friendly and always around if you need them. The building feels dated, and the beds are awful. I wouldn’t want to spend more than one night here. The shower was lovely, though, with lots of hot water, and the heating worked perfectly. Breakfast wasn’t good: just toast and croissants, and both were poor quality.

The location works well if you don’t want to move your car, and there’s a spacious garage. The place is nice, the elevator works, and the room had air conditioning. Breakfast was fine and served at convenient times. YouTube, Netflix and cable TV were available.

The building is old, but it’s clean and well looked after. The staff were very attentive, and the location is excellent, close to restaurants and San Martín Square.
