Mariano and Silvina made our stay in Mendoza feel like a dream. They were warm and generous, and their many tips helped us throughout the trip. Little Donato was so sweet, too. I loved the gorgeous decor, lovely grounds, and soft sheets on the super comfortable beds. Breakfast was complete and tasty, and the shower had great pressure. I also bought some homemade olive oil for the kids, and it was delicious. Thanks so much, guys. I highly recommend Pura Vida 💛

We enjoyed our stay so much that we wished it could have been longer, and we'd definitely choose this place again. The owners looked after everything and even advised us where to shop. The loft was beautiful, clean, and smelled lovely, and they also provide laundry service. Breakfast was delicious, with homemade jam and pastries that were just divine. Thanks for everything!

The hosts were attentive from the minute we arrived, with kind service and day-by-day suggestions for exploring Mendoza. The location was the best! We had a wonderful stay and would absolutely come back. I highly recommend it for families ❤❤❤❤🙌🙌🙌🙌🥰🥰🥰🥰

The only positive thing I can take from all this is that the owner refunded our deposit. We were treated terribly, and after leaving we found somewhere 20 times better for much less than this inn charges. We had to go collect our belongings and find somewhere else around 10 p.m., since it seemed unlikely we'd even be able to stay one night. The man came out as we were leaving and only said, "Hello." Luckily, we were out of there. Here's how it unfolded. When we first arrived, the staff were friendly, but things felt different once we got inside. Our room had no bedside tables. The shower soap dish was loose and unusable, and the shower faucet didn't work, so my dad had to wash directly under the tap. The toilet seat was missing a screw and tilted when you sat on it. The pillows were painfully hard, and all the beds faced the same way and seemed ready for replacement. The door was in awful shape, the wall needed replastering, and the door itself needed replacing. The kitchen they showed us was dark, small, and ugly. A young man said we could use a refrigerator to cool things, but that it didn't keep them cold, so we had to use the minibar for that. We tried to rest, but screaming kids and music made it impossible. That noise is normal, but the walls seemed paper-thin. We were already unhappy with the room. My dad messaged the man to explain the specific problems, and then we went into downtown San Rafael. While we were out, he wrote that we could leave if we wanted, said the photos were on Booking.com, and that he didn't want disgruntled guests at his hotel. The photos didn't show the broken things, haha. Instead of trying to address the issues, he sent recommendations for 5-star hotels and told us we could go there, as if there were no better options. The place as it is barely deserves 2 stars. After reading about the situation, I looked up reviews on Google. There weren't many low ratings, but those reviews described the same problems. The owner hadn't apologized in those cases either. He'd made excuses and defended how badly the place was run, even though it really was beautiful but very poorly maintained. From what we'd read, it didn't seem like he would offer a solution. It felt like he was kicking us out and treating us like fools. In a previous reply to people who complained, he said he wished they'd told him during their stay. Well, we did, and we got the same response. Based on what happened to us, I'd pay attention to comments like these. If something goes wrong, I don't think the owners will take responsibility.

Silvina and Mariano were attentive to every detail from the moment we arrived. The room was excellent, spacious, and had a private bathroom, while breakfast was incredible. The grounds are very large, with a pool and grills. We'll definitely choose this place again next time we're here.
