Regine Hotel

The staff were very friendly, and breakfast was excellent. The room cleanliness was questionable, though. The chlorine smell was so strong that we had to leave our bags and go straight back out. The bathroom wasn't great either, and there were soap containers in the shower from the previous guest.

The bathroom smelled so bad that we had to keep its door shut while sleeping. Our room was tiny, very basic, and poorly maintained. Breakfast was terrible too, very basic, and they gave us receipts left over from the previous day. This hotel left a lot to be desired.

We stayed over the November long weekend. The hotel was clean, quiet, and well located, and the staff were attentive and very friendly. The food was average. Our only complaint was the children's menu: for two of the three nights, they offered the same hamburgers with mashed potatoes. More choices are needed. Recommended.

Dinner was good, with an appetizer, main course, and dessert, and breakfast had plenty of variety and food. Drinks cost extra, which they tell you upfront. We paid 3,100 pesos for a small bottle of soda, water, and juice. The hotel is spacious and nice but very run down. Our sheets were stained, and the beds were tiny singles. We saw spiders in the hallway now and then, and although the pool was beautiful, it was dirty by the second day from the previous day's use. The staff were incredibly unfriendly, with serious expressions and no greetings. I only found one or two members of the cleaning staff pleasant.
