San Rafael Group Hotel

Really excellent.

Breakfast had lots of different things to choose from 😍. The room was comfortable and clean, a real highlight. For four of us, the price was super affordable. The service was excellent and everyone was friendly.

The room was really spacious, though there were damp patches on the walls. Cleanliness, though, was a 10 out of 10, and the cleaning service deserves that score. Our receptionist was not friendly at all, just yes or no answers. The place in central San Rafael is far, very far from the tourist area, bars, restaurants, and nightlife. A taxi costs 6,000 Argentine pesos each way, although the neighborhood itself is very quiet. After a long excursion you want to walk around and grab a drink, but everything is far away. Breakfast was surprisingly limited for somewhere I’ve traveled to: a croissant, a piece of lard bread, and a sponge cake we tried. There were two fruits, banana and apple, plus tea, coffee, hot water, yogurt, and juice, but not much variety beyond that.

The room was roomy and had air conditioning, though ours didn’t have a minibar. The location was excellent. The bed was comfortable, and the shower had plenty of hot water and space. There was also room in the bathroom to hang washed clothes.
