It's a shame when the service doesn't live up to the surroundings. Having someone welcoming at reception can really change how a place feels.

The whole hotel smelled bad. The room reeked of mold, and the internet kept dropping. The shower stall had an awful curtain. We paid for breakfast because we were traveling for work, but when we went down there was nothing to eat. The receptionist brought four hard, stale croissants, and that was literally all. The coffee tasted bad, and there was no bread, cheese, ham, fruit, juice, or even water. It was a disgrace. We paid for this, then had to spend money at a gas station to get breakfast. Calling this hotel terrible would be a compliment. Six other guests came down too, and there was nothing for them either. I have photos to prove it. I hope they refund the breakfast we paid for for three guests and didn't eat. If you're just passing through for a night, I'd recommend Entre Rios - Paraná instead. We stayed at hotel Gran Paraná on the way back from our trip and it was very good. The photos of this hotel Bertaina on booking look completely different. Breakfast looks lovely there, but take a look at the photo I'm attaching.
