The park is spectacular, tastefully decorated, and a lovely place to relax in summer. But you'd better hope for good weather, because otherwise there's not much to do. The food is simple, with portions that seem suited to people seriously dieting. The rooms are clean, bright, and stylish. It's nice, but...

We really enjoyed the breakfast, and the grounds and decor were lovely. It was a very nice place, and the service was good overall. A few things got in the way: the pool couldn't be used, the bathroom lighting was poor, and there was nowhere to put soap or shampoo in the shower. There were no grab bars, so my grandmother felt very unsafe bathing. It was also hard to find someone at reception when we needed help. They hadn't replaced our towels, so we had to use a wet one, and nobody was around to ask for another. When someone finally showed up, I asked for a hairdryer. They went to look for one and never came back to let me know. 🤷

The staff were great, always ready to answer questions or offer advice. The rooms are comfortable, nicely furnished, and have what you need; the bathroom was excellent. The food is simple but satisfying, and they have drinks, a good wine list, and vegetarian options if requested. It's a peaceful place to unplug, set in lovely surroundings. The building has historical value and is very well maintained, and the park, pool, and shared spaces were clean. I'm personally not a fan of breakfast being served in the room, but they provide everything needed for a good one.

There are plenty of spots around the property to relax and enjoy, and the rooms are spacious and comfortable. The friendly staff were always attentive. There's a spa, a pool, and a restaurant if you'd rather stay in, though its menu isn't à la carte. They also have different packages, including an all-inclusive option for friends. A beautiful place!
