We were forced to find somewhere to sleep after an unfortunate incident at home, and after searching through Las Toninas and much of Santa Teresita, we reached this place at 3 AM. With a two-month-old baby and a four-year-old, we had no other choice but to stay. A young man greeted us, took our details, kindly helped with our bags, and showed us to our room. It was tiny, had no air conditioning, and only a weak ceiling fan. The Wi-Fi didn't work at all. We tried the 14-inch TV instead, but didn't have the remote the young man was supposed to give us. The mattress sagged badly, and the old, stained comforter was too hot to use. Around 10:00 AM someone knocked, but when my husband answered, nobody replied. At 11:00 AM the owner's partner came by and said we had to leave because checkout was at 10:00. We told her we hadn't known and were getting changed to go. A few minutes later she pressed us again, making us open the door while we were changing the children. I opened it quickly to show her what we were doing and explained that the young man hadn't told us checkout time. She showed no empathy and called us liars, insisting he must have told us. The owner took the same position when we went downstairs to pay. After a few minutes of arguing, he became more understanding and apologized, while she left without changing her stance. I know it's a two-star hotel, but $15,000 felt excessive for the conditions and comfort, on top of the unfair treatment from that woman. I hope they didn't take action against the young employee for forgetting to tell us the schedule.

The rooms have the basics you need and are comfortable, bright, and free of damp stains. The bathroom has easy access to hot water, and the price includes cable TV and Wi-Fi. The owners are a brilliant young couple, very respectful and careful about COVID protocols. I had a good stay and we'll definitely be back next vacation.

Small rooms, but they have what you need, and the price is reasonable for what's offered. The owners are lovely and made the stay feel warm and welcoming. It's very close to both the beach and town center, so everything is easy to reach. There are taxis nearby and a great brewery right next door. If I come back to Santa Teresita, I'd definitely stay here again.

We spent a few days here at the end of January and had a really good stay. The hotel is welcoming and owner-run, with an excellent location for a family trip. It was great value for money, and the cleanliness and warm croissants at breakfast stood out.

A TOTAL disaster!!! My phone reservation didn't matter when I arrived, the room had already been given to someone else. The same happened to another person who arrived after me. They moved me to a different room, but it wasn't ready. I had no cold water, and they never changed my towels, so I had to dry off with my own. Breakfast meant three self-service thermoses, hot water, coffee, and milk, plus two croissants per person. The cleaning was poor; they just used water and didn't disinfect or freshen the rooms. There's no air conditioning, and water comes through the windows when the upstairs tank apparently overflows. I absolutely don't recommend this place.
