For the price and location, I’d definitely stay again. It’s clean, the staff are good, and the common areas are nice. The terrace overlooking the main street was a highlight. My bunk was comfortable and had shelves for my things. It’s a budget hostel, so keep expectations realistic. There aren’t many toilets or showers.

The peaceful feel and piano music at breakfast were lovely, and the staff were friendly. I really like my room, especially the little bedside light :D The bed’s comfortable and the bathrooms are nice, too. And those views!!! 🩷

The people here are friendly, and the place has a good vibe. The terrace is nice, and the balcony is even better. It’s very well located. Breakfast is available, though you have to pay extra. The beds and TV were fine, but the bathroom door and shower screen were broken, water was leaking, and the room fridge leaked too. There was a private bedroom. The kitchen had very few cooking utensils, though there was an electric kettle, a stove without an oven, a grill, and bicycles for rent. The staff were excellent. Still, if comfort is what you’re after, I wouldn’t recommend it.

The patio is beautiful at sunrise, and from the balcony you can watch the sun go down over the valley and the main avenue. The service was top-notch, and they even stored my backpack or suitcase after checkout. The location and price are hard to beat, and the place has everything. If I’m back in Tafí, I’d definitely stay at Emeq again.
