Bar Suites

The place was nice and practical, and they let us check out late :) There were a few problems, though. A construction site across the street started work early, and we could hear cars and motorcycles at night because it’s in the city center. Water collected in the bathtub and didn’t drain properly, and the toilet button broke the first time we used it. The bedroom heater didn’t warm that room enough, although the living room and bathroom were warm. The stovetop and oven couldn’t be used at the same time because their outlets wouldn’t work together. One towel had holes in it. A potato masher and hairdryer would also be nice to have.

The bed was excellent, and the apartment was spacious, had everything we needed, and was very well located. I stayed in the front apartment, though, and its narrow stairs make it unsuitable for older people or anyone with reduced mobility. The area gets very noisy, especially on weekend nights, and we struggled to sleep on Saturday. The bathroom looks nice but isn’t practical, with nowhere to hang towels and water leaking everywhere. One of the wooden floorboards in the bedroom was loose, with nails sticking out. Objectively, it’s a great place that could use some TLC.

The location and cleanliness were good, and the shower and hot water worked fine. But I found the ground-floor apartment uncomfortable. There was no dining table, just a very high breakfast bar with extremely uncomfortable benches. The TV was outdated and didn’t work at all, and neither did the Wi-Fi. There are two steps between the bedroom and bathroom, which isn’t convenient with children or older people. The sink is outside the bathroom, so it’s impractical and there’s no privacy. The kitchen is all electric, and only one burner worked. I wouldn’t stay here again.

Finding all of this together in a place to stay can be hard, but I found it at Bar Suites Jardín. The space was quiet, clean, bright, and fresh, and it’s very well located. Service was friendly and management responsive. Highly recommended in a city like Tandil, which has a very good and varied range of accommodation.
