Cabañas Piedras de Tandil

Ignacio was helpful and friendly both while we were booking and when we arrived. The cabin had all the amenities we needed for a vacation, and the area of Tandil is lovely, close to Parque Independencia and Lago del Fuerte. We'd definitely come back.

The owner was really cool, and the cabin is well located and equipped, with DirecTV. The grills are good, and both the heaters and hot water worked great. Getting into the lower cabin can be tricky because the slope is steep, so some people may not feel comfortable driving down. Still, I'd recommend it.

I can't say whether this complex even exists, but I want to warn others about what happened to me. While I was looking for a place for Easter week, someone called Juan Castillo contacted me on Facebook and showed me these cabins using obviously fake photos and this Google profile. I lost money in a scam. I believe the people behind it are criminals using the cabin listing even though they don't actually exist. I'm sharing this so it doesn't happen to someone else.

We stayed with family for the October 7-10, 2022 long weekend, and everything was excellent. I booked directly with the owner. After my car broke down and I had to travel the next day, he let us stay one more day without charging even $1 extra, so we could recover from the loss. The place is quiet and only 10 minutes from the center, close to everything but peaceful at night. Breakfast supplies were waiting for us when we arrived. I've seen scam comments and suspect criminals used the photos to post them; the cabins are real and everything here was as described. The low rating seems to come from reviews unrelated to the place. I definitely recommend it.
