Las Pircas

The place looked beautiful at first, but the stay went downhill quickly. We had a cabin for 5-6 people, and nobody asked us for ID. Breakfast was poor: weak coffee, stale bread, and croissants that seemed to be from the previous month. We tried to warm them in the oven, but there were no baking trays and hardly any utensils, so cooking felt like camping. We were also nervous about using the oven because its refractory bricks were missing. The bathroom is up a fairly steep slope, which would be difficult for someone with limited mobility. There wasn't enough wardrobe space for a group staying several days, either. Downstairs, the cold came in around the badly sealed door, underneath, at the sides, and above, and no heater could keep the room warm. There were four women sharing just one roll of toilet paper, and the shower barely trickled. On the second day, we moved a mattress from beneath a bed so the people freezing downstairs could sleep upstairs. We found rat droppings under it. The only response was to sweep them away; the man helping us had no other solution to offer. They didn't move us to another cabin, so we were left living with the rat and its mess. I do not recommend this place.

My son loved the children's books and the soft play area. The indoor pool is unusually spacious, and the outdoor one is warm enough that you don't freeze getting in on a sunny day. The cabins are lovely, the staff were all very friendly, and the atmosphere is great for families. We left hoping to return, and I'd definitely recommend it.

We spent five days there. The cabin was clean and comfortable, with a bathroom jacuzzi and a gas heater, and the breakfasts were generous and tasty. The indoor pool and changing rooms were spotless, and the service was very good. It's outside the center, though having a car makes it easy to get to the tourist sights. The one problem was housekeeping. Cleaning was meant to happen on our third day but never did, and we weren't given clean towels or new trash bags during the five days. When we raised it, they said they don't clean on checkout day either. They did offer to bring toilet paper and towels right away after we complained. Other than that issue, the service was impeccable.

We chose Los Pircas to get some rest, and left feeling refreshed. The grounds were so peaceful, and both the cabin and outdoor areas were impeccably clean. The pools looked beautiful, too. Breakfast was AMAZING, with lots of variety and excellent quality. We loved our stay and are already planning another getaway 🙌🏻
