Hotel Bilbao

We stayed over the long weekend and were very satisfied with everything offered. Silvia and her family were so kind, and the location was excellent. There's parking, and since it's so central we didn't need to use the car. Everything was excellent!

For a 2-star hotel, it's good. The rooms are spacious, the bed comfortable, everything was very clean, and breakfast was acceptable. Having a garage is a real plus. The only thing I'd suggest improving is a little more friendliness from the woman who serves guests.

I had a terrible experience. They quoted one price, then charged me about 40 percent more. When I raised it, the owner was incredibly rude and gave me a disdainful look. I'd been traveling for 10 hours and wasn't dressed to impress. She also decided, without asking me, to give me a double room because the single was "Was going to be too small." Dinner cost 20,000 pesos, and all I got was soup and a plate of rice. I didn't get the chicken because apparently they'd run out. The place leaves a lot to be desired. After looking around, I found much better hotels for what they charged. My vacation had barely begun, and they'd already ruined it. Awful. I've attached photos of the wardrobe, which is broken and won't close properly.

Everything is nearby, and the hotel itself is spacious. Our room was comfortable, especially the mattresses and pillows. The massage therapist was excellent, too, and I’d recommend her. Still, dealing with the owners was awful. They were very rude and can ruin your day. If they don’t want to deal with guests anymore, they should retire and hire someone who enjoys the work. I don’t recommend this place. There are plenty of similar hotels around.
