Hotel Cervantes

The thermal pool is larger than others I’ve seen at spa hotels, and its gazebo cover helps keep the water at a pleasant temperature. Staff are very friendly, and the hotel is four blocks from the casino. It does need some maintenance, but it’s a decent option if you’re trying to save money. It’s a mid-range place that matched the booking site description. Breakfast is included, a basic coffee with milk, croissants, and toast, but it does the job. There’s a private parking lot with a gate that closes in the early morning. Rooms are cleaned daily and bath towels are changed.

Awful place. It’s far from everything, they switch off the air conditioning, and the pool is terrible. Don’t go.

There’s a big free parking area, and the location is convenient, around five blocks from downtown. You’re given your own keys for the stay, and both the property and surrounding area feel very safe. The thermal shower comes with instructions for before and after use, and the covered thermal pool can be used without time limits. The lounge is cozy, with comfortable sofas and DirecTV. Rooms have private bathrooms, towels, soap, toilet paper, new box springs, spotless bedding, TV, Wi-Fi, air conditioning, and heating. Breakfast is an unlimited classic breakfast in a colonial dining room. The staff were excellent and everything was very clean. Highly recommend!

My 10-year-old son left his Pumas soccer jersey by the pool at night, and by early morning it was gone. No one took responsibility. The owner said there was nothing she could do if another guest had “kept” it. I’ve never before had something disappear at a hotel and then had the owners refuse to take responsibility. It’s disgraceful. We stayed two nights as a family. The rooms are very old, there was no shower curtain in the bathroom, and everything got wet. A terrible experience. I don’t recommend it.
