The dining room staff, a lady and a young man, were excellent, and the food was delicious. The worst part was the room. The furniture was in deplorable shape, there was no bedside lamp, and it had been painted over, leaving paint stains on the windows. There was no curtain, just newspaper covering the glass. The receptionist, who also charged for drinks in the dining room, did help us, but clearly seemed annoyed that we complained. They did move us to another room, but we still had a terrible time. I stayed over the May 1st weekend. The furniture was destroyed, there were no hangers, and the closet was missing a door. Owners or supervisors shouldn’t blame the cleaning staff for this. One more thing: the outdoor pool is across the street, right on the sidewalk in front of the hotel. I don’t recommend it.
