Rio Tigre Hotel

The pools were nice, and breakfast was good. Everything was clean, and the staff were very friendly. The rooms, though, are so small that one person has to wait for the other to move, and the bathrooms are tiny enough to make a comfortable shower difficult. They could add towel hooks and a bath mat.

My family and I are so grateful to Río Tigre Hotel. We held our wedding in Tigre on December 5th and used the hotel facilities that day and afterward. The rooms were lovely and very clean, and breakfast was delicious with lots of variety. From the day before we arrived through the wedding itself, the staff helped us with everything. They even let our stylist, photographer, videographer, bridesmaids, and groomsmen come in without making any fuss. I recommend the hotel wholeheartedly. Sending everyone a big hug!

The location is unbeatable, and the staff were very friendly and attentive. Our room and bathroom were both extremely small, though the room was clean and the beds comfortable. There's no bidet, just a handheld shower meant to serve as one. A towel rack and a shelf under the sink would help with bathroom storage. Breakfast was good, but could use more fruit, since watermelon was the only option, and something for guests with gluten intolerance.

The staff and location were the only things I liked. For the price, what they provide is completely out of line, and I wouldn't recommend staying here or return myself. Room 14 felt like Harry Potter's room under the stairs. It was tiny, with a low ceiling and a support beam cut so the door could open. Loose boards on the floor were a hazard. The bed frames didn't fit the oversized mattresses, and the sheets were the wrong size too. They used a regular sheet instead of a fitted one, so it kept slipping off. The shower was cramped enough that I had to shift around to shampoo and use my leg to close it. The bathroom was too small for a bidet. The towels were torn and dirty, and the bedspreads were filthy. On a rainy weekend, I also saw leaks in several spots in the breakfast area. The price felt like a rip-off for these services.
