Malka and José Luis took us in almost immediately when we needed somewhere at very short notice. They were great hosts and gave us lots of useful tips about the area. The garden is absolutely outstanding, and there's a lovely outdoor area to relax. Our beautifully decorated room had everything we needed and was incredibly clean. There's also a small dining room where you can make hot drinks and food. It's a short walk to the centre, but far enough away to be quiet. We had one of our best night's sleep in five months in Latin America. On the way into town, there's a nice stretch of artesanal shops and cafes.

After a nine-hour drive from Potosí- Bolivia -, Jose luis and his wife Malka gave us the warmest welcome. The room was lovely, super clean, and had a nice touch, tucked in the middle of the woods. For great value, this is absolutely the best place. Highly recommended!

I stayed here with my girlfriend and my best friend in March 2024, and we fell in love with the place and the warm hospitality from Malka and José Luis. They make you feel right at home with their comfort, warmth, and kindness, and that's priceless. The room was beautiful and comfortable, and the patio felt like a fairy tale for a little while. This year I recommended La Casa del Indio to my parents, and they came back just as thrilled as we were. Beautiful place, highly recommended.

My daughter and I had a truly peaceful couple of nights here. The beautiful garden has a mountain view, and we got to light a fire and use the grill. Everything was spacious and very clean, the hot water never failed, and the pillows were so comfortable. It's very close to Pucara, an easy walk there. I would suggest a few more cooking utensils and at least an electric stovetop. They don't accept credit cards, which could be a drawback if, like us, you don't carry cash.
