The hotel is in a lovely spot beneath the Andes, and the main building is pleasant, with a bar and a restaurant terrace looking toward the mountains. Still, it felt far too expensive for what was offered, and I wouldn’t stay at this price. Our room was dark, despite the setting and views it could have had. Its garden was scrappy and unmaintained, and there was a constant bad drain smell. Building work was also underway on site. The advertised spa had no real spa facilities. Treatments happened in a converted bedroom. The pool was cold, unheated, and not properly cleaned, with algae on and beneath the coping tiles. The Jacuzzi water was below the right level, so the jets sprayed above the waterline. I mentioned it, but as far as I know nobody fixed it while I was there. I sent all these comments through the hotel's feedback form after our stay and never heard back. For a hotel of this apparent quality, I found that pretty damning.

The Siete Fuegos experience at the hotel restaurant was one of the highlights of our trip. It felt like an authentic, soulful Argentine cultural experience, centered on fire, food, and local traditions, and it was deeply memorable. The whole resort is stunning, with vineyards everywhere and the Andes behind them. The villas are beautiful, peaceful, and incredibly comfortable, and the warm, attentive team makes everything feel easy and natural. It brings together luxury, nature, and the true spirit of Mendoza so well. We’d return without hesitation.

Our wine tour of the Mendoza region, arranged through Argentina Wine Tours, couldn’t have been better. Flavia at Argentina Wine Tours put together a phenomenal trip, and I’d recommend reaching out to her if you need someone to plan a Mendoza wine tour. The resort itself was simply spectacular, the most beautiful we’ve ever had the honor of visiting. The accommodations, scenery, grounds, delicious food, and refined, professional service were all incredible, the best service we experienced in Argentina. Every staff member was friendly, efficient, and professional. Franco in the bar stood out even more, making each drink a work of art. It was amazing hearing how many of the garnishes are made in house. Highly recommended!
